Love is My Cry Forever is an accessible and beautiful piece commissioned by David Ward and the Pioneer Heritage Middle School Varsity Treble Choir in Frisco, TX. When I stumbled upon this Sara Teasdale text, I knew it would be the perfect text for this project. I believe everyone in this world is looking for some place to belong, and I thought this message was appropriate and fitting for young singers. In addition to Teasdale's text, I wrote a short refrain that captures my thoughts and ideas towards the poem.

With lyrical melodies, beautiful harmonies, and a piano accompaniment that stands alone, this piece will become a favorite among your choir.
